About this guide
How the seasons are checked
The guide keeps only facts that hold from one season to the next, and each was checked in October 2026. Nothing on these pages is a forecast.

Four seasons, by the guide's rule
The Calendar Keepers read the year in four seasons by the guide's own rule. Winter runs December to February, spring March to May, summer June to August and fall September to November. Each season is a set of questions about the trip: where to park, how to get there and back, what stays open late. It is not a weather forecast, and no page gives temperatures or road conditions.
Shows, race dates and holiday hours change within weeks, so the guide leaves them out. Where a venue posts them, the guide points to that venue's own pages instead.
Nowhere does the site name a best time to visit or to play. A season here sorts practical questions; it does not rank the months.

Hours and clocks
Every venue in the guide keeps Central Time, America/Winnipeg, and all hours are given in it as each venue publishes them. Every schedule runs as a single week starting on Monday. Late hours stay with the day on which they began, so a Friday night that ends at 5 AM is shown under Friday. The guide leaves out holiday hours; each venue's own site is where to look for them.
If one venue's pages show conflicting figures, the guide drops the number or notes that the pages do not agree. At South Beach Casino & Resort, the pages differ on which days the buffets run, so no buffet days appear here. Its slot machines appear only as more than 500.
Distances, transit and pictures
Every distance is a straight line from the venue's OpenStreetMap coordinates to Winnipeg City Hall, computed by the guide. These are not driving distances, and no travel times are given. Winnipeg Transit appears only where a source names it. That covers the Club Regent Casino stop on Winnipeg Transit's own page and Cityplace's note on connections near Shark Club Gaming Centre. No route is listed for McPhillips Station Casino or Assiniboia Downs, and the guide found no public transit service to South Beach Casino & Resort.
Every picture here is generated, never a photograph, and no people appear in any of them. Four follow real photos of their places, seen from the same side. They show Club Regent's entrance in snow, its tropical-themed hall, South Beach on an autumn evening and the empty Assiniboia Downs stands. The season set adds invented scenes: a snowy street, a Lake Winnipeg shore, a spring Red River path and elms in fall. A venue without a picture gets a code-drawn map of Lake Winnipeg and the Red and Assiniboine rivers, from public-domain Natural Earth.
Where the facts come from
Facts on this site were checked in October 2026. The sources are the venues' own pages, Cityplace, Winnipeg Transit and Travel Manitoba. The list also includes Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries (MBLL) and the Liquor, Gaming and Cannabis Authority of Manitoba (LGCA).
Assiniboia Downs is a partial exception. Its website could not always be read. Part of its facts therefore comes from archived copies of the track's own pages, and the rest was read on its website in October 2026.
Questions, season by season
Are the kilometres on this site road distances?
No, each one is a straight line computed from OpenStreetMap coordinates to Winnipeg City Hall. The guide gives no driving distances and no travel times.
Why does the guide list no show or race dates?
They change within weeks, so the guide keeps only what holds between seasons. Where a venue posts them, the guide points to that venue's own pages.
Does the guide forecast the weather?
No, a season here is a set of trip questions, such as where to park and what stays open late. The guide gives no temperatures and no road conditions.
